This week we took 40 children to the Mosaic Art Project Official Handing Over Ceremony at Mathari National Teaching and Referral hospital. On arrival they were warmly greeted by Mr. David Kimani the Director of the Juhudi Children’s Club who is in partnership with The Safaricom Foundation and the hospital who sponsored this program. Each child was given a Safaricom shirt to wear. Our two mosaics were mounted inside the Outpatient Center. The work that the children had done is truly amazing. Our framed certificate read: MOSAICS – This certificate was awarded to COGRI ART CLUB for participating in the creation of Mosaic Artworks for Mathari Teaching and Referral Hospital between July 2017 – March 2018. The children enjoyed viewing all of the mosaics, it is great for them to see their artwork appreciated and be recognised for their hard work. #matharihospital #SafaricomFoundation
